Behaviour: If you’re coming to the Hunter Valley to party, you’ve picked a great place to do so. Unfortunately, just not at our place. Though we’re sure it won’t come to it, serious complaints of unruly behaviour will unfortunately result in you being asked to leave. Not good for you. Not good for us.

Illicit Drugs: What you do in your personal time is entirely up to you, but when staying at our place we have a strict no drug use policy. This is just the law… not so much one of our rules.

Noise: Please be aware that noise can travel through the adjoining door. We have installed sound proofing and solid core doors between the rooms. To be considerate to the other occupants and neighbours, we kindly ask to keep things on the quieter-side after 9pm and before 9am.

Occupancy: We understand that for a whole variety of reasons, you may want additional guests to stay. If you want additional guests to stay, please contact us and let us know. We’re reasonable people and will accommodate wherever possible, additional charges will apply.

Parking: Parking is provided at the front of the Suites.  There is one parking space for each Suite, Chardonnay, and Shiraz, with a spare for house guests. Please Park there and keep the driveway clear for others.

Pets: We have two German Shepherds, Sergeant Hans Schultz, and Fräulein Freida, unfortunately they do not like to share their property with other four-legged fury friends, so sorry ….no Pets are allowed. Schultz and Freida are fenced out of the Mala Retreat guest area.

Security: To ensure full safety of our guest’s belongings, we like to keep the front doors locked as a precautionary measure. Whilst being one of the safest areas of town, we want to ensure every guest stay remains problem free, and this is just one small and simple thing we’re able to do to ensure that. Please lock your room when going out.

Shoe Policy: To ensure we keep the carpet and tiles squeaky clean for our guests’ enjoyment, we have a clean shoe only policy inside our home. Please ensure dirty shoes are left outside.

Smoking: This is a totally non-smoking home both inside and near the entrances. If you do need to smoke or vape, please do so away from the entrance doors. There is an Ashtray under the BBQ on the Shiraz Suite Veranda, to place your butts in. Any sort of smoking inside the rooms will cost you a minimum $250 to $500 deep cleaning fee.
